We are a small, locally owned Hawaiian company, established in 1991 and now under recent ownership. We work hands-on with our crew each day. Our newer vessels can carry up to 20 guests, though many tours remain limited to 16 for comfort and space.

With the hourly base price of a private charter the vessel’s captain and crew/naturalist are included to guide your adventure and share educational information about Maui and marine animals.
For a private snorkel tour, you will gear up in clean and sanitized high quality snorkel gear, including a mask, snorkel and fins and floatation devices like pool noodles, float belts and a giant floating lily pad.
For snorkel tours we always have a captain and at least 2 PADI certified snorkel guides onboard to give snorkel instruction and act as in water guides.

We recommending bringing a towels, hat, sunglasses, reef safe sunscreen or a sun shirt. BYOB ok, just no glass containers since everyone is barefoot on the boat.
Because the rafts are open air we recommend bringing a waterproof bag for personal items. We do sell small dry-bags at our shop as well! (*based on availability)
A Camera or GoPro for photos and videos is a must bring. You never know what you will encounter whale watching or snorkeling in Maui.
Our private charter food options are fresh and easy to eat on the adventure style raft. Please note you can always bring your own food and beverages as well and we can provide a cooler and ice.

If you have a group of family or friends (ohana) looking for adventure, a private charter is most likely the best fit for you. Often our private charters are better for your budget than paying for each person in your group to join a shared snorkel or whale watching charter.

Looking to film using a drone from a boat? A private boat charter is the best option for your drone filming. If you plan to use a drone to film whales there are federal restrictions on airspace over humpback whales and we can guide you to make sure you follow those protections while filming.
Want flexibility to return early or stay out longer? Private boat charters can often accommodate change of duration and activity since it’s just you and your ohana.
Our small eco-raft do not have restrooms available but our check-in location offers a restroom and also purified water available for all guests.
There is also a restroom at Safeway and the Lahaina Cannery Mall nearby.
Due to our style of vessel and activities our rafts may get a little bumpy. Because of this it is not a fit for pregnant or persons with back or neck injuries.
All ages are welcome on private charters, infants are ok!
Please no spray sunscreen, rub on reef safe sunscreen is welcome!
Please contact us at least 7 day prior to scheduled tour notice for cancellations and refunds.
And please note there is always a change have to cancel tours or rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances but will contact and refund you if that ever is the case.

During whale migration season, December-April, whale watching can be included in your snorkel tour, making it a combo ocean rafting adventure.
Whale watching tours are available as private charters from December-April and we offer sightseeing and dolphin watching year-round.
Our private boat charters operate at an hourly rate. If you know your budget ahead of time we can help you create an experience that best fits your budget.
Our private boat charters also include crew and snorkel gear. We have catering options available for upgrade or you can always bring your own food and beverages onboard.
The smaller capacity vessels will be a lower hourly price point and will increase as the boat capacity and size increases.
